Senior Lakehouse Data Engineering Expert

Shape secure, high-performance data architectures for Croesus wealth management solutions using Lakehouse design, ELT/ETL, and governance expertise. Work hybrid, with two office days weekly in Laval or Montréal.

This Data Engineering Expert position focuses on reliable data collection, transformation, governance, and availability for analytics and artificial intelligence. You will operate in a Databricks-focused environment, applying Medallion architecture and Unity Catalog. The position partners with Product, Innovation, Data, and Systems teams while resolving production incidents and improving data flows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize scalable pipelines across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers
• Maintain metadata standards and dataset traceability through Unity Catalog
• Analyze pipeline migrations to the Databricks platform
• Investigate production incidents and stabilize operational data flows
• Collaborate across teams on business-aligned data models

Requirements:

• Five or more years designing and operating data pipelines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
• Strong Lakehouse, ELT/ETL, and distributed processing knowledge
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and alerting strategies
• Excellent French communication for internal collaboration

Use Lakehouse architecture, Unity Catalog, and analytical problem solving to strengthen Croesus data platforms and production reliability.
