Description

  • Lead the end-to-end design, build, and strategic alignment of global network architecture solutions for a transnational financial services business.

  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, network diagrams, and long-term technology roadmaps.

  • Act as the technical lead across global infrastructure initiatives, including office moves, security enhancements, cloud migrations, and voice solution deployments.

  • Provide L3/L4 technical escalation support for critical network incidents and guide complex troubleshooting.

  • Drive network automation for asset compliance, security hardening, and operational efficiency.

  • Oversee operational handovers, process improvements, vendor management, and collaboration across cross-functional, multi-regional teams.

  • Mentor, train, and guide junior and peer engineering team members to foster technical growth and knowledge sharing

  • Experience:

    • 5–8 years of L3 Network Engineering experience.

    • At least 3 years of Network Architecture experience designing global solutions in large, complex, or regulated environments.

  • Education: Engineering Degree or equivalent practical experience (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Core Technical Skills:

    • Routing & Switching / Architecture: Deep expertise in Internet, Intranet, Extranet, WAN, LAN, MAN, VPN, SD-WAN, SDN, and SASE solutions.

    • Network Security: Strong background in Firewalls, IPS, DDoS mitigation, Proxies, B2B VPN, and application security controls.

    • Application & Delivery Networking: Load Balancing, WAF, QoS, and interoperation between cloud-based and branch/end-user networks.

    • Core IP & Directory Services: DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NTP, Active Directory, Certificates, and Cloud Identity Management.

    • Hosting & Remote Access: Hands-on knowledge of On-Prem, Colo, SaaS, PaaS, and remote access solutions (VPN Gateways, Citrix).

    • Documentation: Advanced skills in producing technical diagrams and architectural documentation (e.g., Visio, PowerPoint).

  • Methodologies & Soft Skills:

    • Proven leadership, solution design, and matrixed organization collaboration across multiple geographies.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership.

    • Willingness to provide out-of-hours support and participate in international business travel as needed.

  • Certifications: Professional or expert-level certifications in Cisco (e.g., CCNP/CCIE), Palo Alto, Aruba, Cloud (AWS/Azure), or Network Security.

  • Voice & Contact Center Solutions: Experience with enterprise voice networks (SIP, GSIP) and contact center infrastructure support.

  • Advanced & Next-Gen Technologies: Exposure to distributed cloud network design, network automation frameworks, AI integration, and next-generation networking tools.
