This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager – Agentic Banking based in Canada.
Overview
Take the lead in shaping the next generation of digital banking through innovative, AI-powered agentic solutions. In this senior product management role, you will define the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of products designed to streamline back-office banking operations. You will work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, finance, compliance, and operations teams to transform customer needs into scalable, high-value solutions. By combining deep banking knowledge with emerging AI capabilities, you will help financial institutions improve efficiency, enhance service delivery, and modernize their workflows. You will also influence commercial strategy, including pricing, packaging, and financial planning, to support sustainable product growth. Accountabilities

Own the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for Agentic Banking solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives.

Define and execute product plans that deliver high-value, self-service capabilities for financial institutions' back-office teams.

Develop business cases, pricing models, packaging strategies, financial forecasts, and investment recommendations for new products and enhancements.

Monitor product adoption, performance metrics, financial results, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, and Operations, to coordinate product development and successful launches.

Engage directly with customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders, serving as a subject matter expert on banking operations, back-office workflows, and agentic AI solutions.

Communicate product vision, strategy, roadmap, and business value to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Use market research, data analysis, and customer insights to guide prioritization and support evidence-based product decisions.

Contribute to the adoption of AI technologies in financial services, ensuring solutions address real operational challenges and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Support team effectiveness through collaboration, knowledge sharing, leadership, and mentoring.

Typically, at least 8 years of relevant professional experience with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with a master's degree, or 3 years with a PhD; equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.

Demonstrated experience in software product management or a comparable product leadership role, including roadmap ownership and product lifecycle management.

At least 4 years of experience in financial services or a strong understanding of banking operations, such as customer support, compliance, deposit operations, payment processing, digital banking, or lending.

Strong understanding of product strategy, customer discovery, market analysis, commercial models, pricing, and financial forecasting.

Familiarity with AI-powered tools and solutions, such as Claude or ChatGPT, and an understanding of how AI systems operate.

Knowledge of agent development, token economics, AI skills design, and related concepts is an advantage.

Strong leadership skills, including the ability to build, motivate, develop, and mentor high-performing teams.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, customers, and executives.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities, including proficiency in Excel and data analysis.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver results.

Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
