Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution and delivery of complex, cross-functional strategic and transformation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain integrated program and project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, resources, dependencies and success measures.
- Establish governance and decision-making processes that create transparency, accountability and forward momentum.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams while ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and strategic priorities.
- Translate strategic priorities into executable plans that achieve measurable business outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships across the organization and facilitate executive steering committees, governance meetings and decision-making forums.
- Provide senior leaders with clear visibility into progress, key decisions, risks, dependencies and recommendations.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and constraints, developing practical mitigation and escalation plans.
- Partner with vendors, consultants, implementation partners and system providers to ensure successful delivery of program objectives.
- Partner with leaders to support organizational readiness, communication, training and change efforts associated with transformation initiatives.
- Monitor progress against milestones, budgets and success measures and ensure initiatives deliver intended business value and measurable results.
Qualifications

- 8+ years of project, program, transformation or related leadership experience.
- Experience within life insurance, annuities, financial services or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact.
- Experience supporting large-scale business transformation, system implementation, integration, conversion, product launch, modernization or policy administration platform initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions, navigate competing priorities and drive accountability across teams without direct authority.
- Experience working effectively with senior leaders, business stakeholders, vendors and external partners.
- PMP, PgMP, Agile or similar certifications are a plus.
Success in This Role

This person should be equally comfortable helping shape an approach, creating structure where it may not yet exist, navigating complexity and driving work through execution. The role requires strong business judgment, curiosity and agility, along with the ability to connect the dots across initiatives, stakeholders and competing priorities. This person brings clarity and momentum to complex work, builds trusted relationships and stays focused on delivering meaningful business outcomes.
