Senior Python AI Engineer (Remote) - Scalable AI Backends

Proxify is seeking a Senior Python AI Engineer to design and build backend systems and APIs for AI-powered applications. You will work on scalable services, chatbots, and copilots, leveraging DL frameworks and LLMs to deliver data-driven products across platforms.

You will collaborate with data scientists, product teams, and frontend engineers, ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency in production environments. This is a fully remote role with CET +/- 3 hours alignment.

Design and develop backend systems and APIs for AI-powered applications. Build and optimize LLM-based workflows, including chatbots and copilots. Implement RAG architectures using vector databases and document pipelines. Integrate and orchestrate cloud-hosted foundation models (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, etc.). Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and frontend developers. Ensure performance, scalability, and cost optimization in production. Proficient in Python with 5+ years of hands-on experience. Experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs for AI-driven apps. Strong knowledge of DL frameworks and LLMs, with practical deployment experience. On-time payments 8-hour workdays Up to 24 flex days off
