About the Role

You will be a software engineer working across the stack and on the Koop product portfolio, building in golang, node, TS, python, and with AWS services. You will build the APIs and user-facing experiences powering the next generation of insurance underwriting, claims, and compliance software for our customers, and you will build LLM powered features for insurance, compliance, and LLM safety.

Responsibilities

• Work across the stack, from golang APIs and data models through the customer-facing UI
• Develop and ship go APIs for underwriting and claims workflows
• Build LLM powered features for insurance, compliance, and safety
• Own services development end to end from design through deployment

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree (B.S. or M.S.) in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience developing in golang and building user-facing web applications
• Must be comfortable using git, CLIs, unix based systems, and docker
• Experience with distributed systems, AWS, or building on LLM APIs are strong pluses

Compensation and Benefits

• $140,000 to $180,000 per year, plus equity, depending on experience and qualifications.
