Description
About the company
Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the commercial relationship and delivery success for a small group of large corporate accounts, from initial scoping through full-scale rollout. Blend consulting-style problem definition with sales and project leadership, partnering with people from day-to-day operations teams up to senior executives.
What you'll do
- Work alongside senior leadership on warm introductions and sell sizeable pilot engagements to executives at major corporations.
- Manage each account's commercial relationship from first contact through expansion.
- Scope engagements by learning how the customer works, aligning many stakeholders and agreeing on success measures before work begins.
- Direct a mixed team of delivery and technical colleagues to run pilots and move them into full production.
- Guide customers through organizational change, clear obstacles and keep executives informed and aligned in high-stakes situations.
- Identify opportunities to grow each account from a pilot to a global footprint.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Background in top-tier strategy consulting (3+ years, or 4+ years at a smaller consulting firm), enterprise sales with large corporate buyers, or a customer-embedded delivery role.
- Direct ownership of senior client relationships, not only a supporting role.
- Strong commercial instincts, including scoping, negotiating and closing complex deals or engagements.
- A record of leading implementations from pilot to production and meeting agreed customer success measures.
- Experience carrying a sales quota or owning revenue goals such as upsell, renewal or pilot conversion.
- Skill at working with stakeholders from frontline operations to the C-suite, aligning incentives and driving change.
- Ability to frame a problem, build a business case and win buy-in for an engagement.
- Excellent project delivery and operational discipline, with the autonomy to thrive under ambiguity.
- Enough technical fluency to understand AI systems at a conceptual level.
- Willingness to work fully on-site in San Francisco or New York City, including relocating if needed.
Bonus points
- Ability to assess what engineers are building and discuss implementation without being an engineer.
