Description

Requirements

Sr Technical Lead Join our Capital Markets Global Corporate Banking Technology team as a Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst who bridges business strategy and technical execution. We're modernizing Corporate Lending operations across Capital Markets, and we need someone who thinks like a software engineer and operates like a delivery leader. You'll own the full SDLC and AI-driven Development Lifecycle (AIIDLC), from translating business requirements into technically rigorous specifications, through architecture and design validation, to production deployment and continuous optimization. This role demands both technical depth - across UI, APIs, data models, and integrations - and the leadership to unblock teams, drive decisions, and move delivery forward with conviction.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Own technical requirements and systems design across the full stack: translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications covering user experience, API contracts, data flows, integrations, and system dependencies. Validate feasibility and identify technical trade-offs early.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery conversations with product owners, project managers, software engineers and data architects. Push back on unclear or risky requirements; propose alternatives; keep momentum on track through blockers and competing priorities.
  • Drive SDLC and AIDLC rigor by ensuring all work (including AI/ML components) has clear acceptance criteria, technical validation gates, and traceability. Understand how AI models are trained, validated, and integrated into production workflows.
  • Engage hands on in technical validation: review API designs, validate data schema changes, write SQL queries to test data integrity, trace end-to-end integration flows, and pair with engineers to solve complex problems. You're not just coordinating - you're contributing.
  • Collaborate with QE leadership on quality assurance integration across the full delivery cycle: understand automation frameworks, test coverage models, and CI/CD integration as they're developed. Validate that testing strategy aligns with technical requirements and actively use QE outputs - regression results, automation gaps, edge case findings - to inform design decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Architect solutions with scalability and maintainability in mind: consider DevOps patterns, CI/CD pipeline integration, data governance, and knowledge management. Document technical decisions and domain knowledge so the team can execute independently.
  • Champion technical best practices around requirements clarity, system design, automation, and knowledge transfer. Mentor team members on how to think through technical problems systematically.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

  • Self-motivated problem-solver: You take initiative, manage competing priorities, and drive work to completion with minimal oversight. You tackle complex problems with creative, unconventional approaches—challenging assumptions and proposing innovative solutions. You're deadline-driven, hold high-quality standards, and motivated by delivering end-to-end results.
  • Technical leadership: You move teams forward by communicating clearly under pressure, facilitating tough decisions, and unblocking others. You understand SDLC phases, code quality, technical debt, and how design decisions compound. You're equally comfortable in a room with executives and debugging with engineers.
  • Technical stack and systems architecture: working knowledge of React and .NET Core C# across REST APIs and microservices. You understand how front-end and backend systems connect, can read API specifications, trace data flows through integrations, and discuss architectural trade-offs with engineers across the stack. Strong familiarity with SQL Server and emerging technologies like MongoDB.
  • AI/ML literacy: you work with AI capabilities daily (in tools, analysis, decision-making) and understand the basics of the AIDLC - model training, validation, prompt engineering, and how AI integrates into operational workflows.
  • QE automation and testing strategy: you understand test automation frameworks, regression testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration. You can read and interpret automation results, identify gaps, and work effectively with QE teams to validate that testing coverage aligns with technical requirements. Familiarity with OOP languages like Python or Java is a plus.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, including prompt engineering and AI code generation tools to enhance team productivity.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipeline tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus).
  • Experience in Capital Markets Corporate Lending: Origination, Limit Management and/or Servicing.
  • Experience working in an agile environment
