Senior Web3 Backend Engineer Toronto

Architect Web3 backend systems with Robinhood in Toronto, using Go or Python to support scalable crypto infrastructure and wallet products.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build backend services, infrastructure, and data systems for Robinhood’s crypto, Web3, and wallet offerings. You will solve distributed systems and correctness challenges while supporting trading experiences for cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets. This Toronto role requires in-person attendance at least three days weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build scalable systems and components for long-term maintainability
• Design, test, and release critical technical solutions
• Collaborate across functions on large-scope technical projects
• Mentor junior developers and lead complex projects

Requirements:

• Five or more years of software development experience
• Three or more years building large-scale crypto distributed systems
• Proficiency in Go or Python with production debugging skills
• Experience operating distributed systems across the software lifecycle
• Strong communication, mentoring, and technical leadership experience
