Sessional Form F Assessor

Who You Are

We are seeking experienced and suitably qualified Sessional Form F Assessors based in Powys or within 10 miles of the Powys border. You should hold a recognized Social Work qualification, be registered with Social Care Wales, and have relevant post-qualifying experience within children's social care.

What the job involves

As a Sessional Form F Assessor, you will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers. You will manage these assessments from allocation through to presentation at the Fostering Panel, producing high-quality, evidence-based reports. Your tasks will include planning assessment visits, analyzing interview data, maintaining records, and responding to feedback. You must be available for supervision, midpoint reviews, and Fostering Panel presentations as required.
