The ApplePay & Wallet Engineering organization is seeking for an experienced software engineer to define and lead quality architecture for next-generation,AI-driven digital experiences. In this role, you will lead the test automation strategy and evaluation frameworks for intelligent transactional systems, multi-step automated workflows, and complex API integrations. Additionally, you'll integrate the testing infrastructure with our continuous integration and continuous deployment systems to ensure that all the tools and services we develop undergo thorough testing and meet our quality standards. You will work cross-functionally with the development, product, and project management teams to deliver on aggressive timelines and ship eCommerce & Apple Pay features that surprise and delight our customers. Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming
• • BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• • Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle, testing methodology, and testing tools
• • Experience in developing test plans, assessing risk, filing appropriate defects, and providing relevant data for test reporting
• • Able to work independently, raise issues, and take corrective action
• • Experience developing and maintaining automation systems that scale
• • Experience testing applications built for mobile devices
• • Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• • Experience validating microservices (unit, component, contract, integration tests, etc)
• • Passionate about clean code and OO design patterns
• • Works well with tight timelines and under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of operating systems and networks
• • Experience with AI-assisted development tools
• • Experience with contract testing tools
• • Experience with service virtualization
• • Experience with Kubernetes, AWS a bonus
• • Proficient in Java or Kotlin
• • Proficient in understanding code to look into client side of the automation stack - Swift preferred
• • Experience managing the build & release process for iOS/MacOS projects is a bonus
