Software Engineer

Requirements:

• BSc, MSc, or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong academic background; high-achieving recent graduates and junior engineers with a few years of commercial experience are welcome
• Strong, demonstrable C++ coding skills; Python and Java knowledge are a bonus
• Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including data modelling and schema design
• Comfort and capability working in a Linux/Unix environment
• Familiarity with or hands-on experience using container runtimes and orchestration tools such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes
• Good grasp of networking protocols and application security fundamentals

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable software solutions, primarily using C++
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement data models and relational database designs using PostgreSQL
• Work in Linux/Unix environments to support the smooth deployment and operation of services
• Use containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes to deploy and scale applications
• Apply networking and security fundamentals to help systems meet banking compliance and performance standards
• Gain exposure to or use existing Go/Golang skills for specific microservices and system components
