Software Engineer (Healthcare Data & AI Platforms)

Requirements

• 8 years or more of experience developing production software, APIs, and healthcare data platforms using TypeScript and AWS.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, AWS, backend development, REST APIs, serverless architecture, and containerized applications.
• Experience with FHIR, HL7, EHR integrations, PHI, HIPAA controls, clinical data models, and healthcare interoperability.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, S3, IAM, encryption, cloud networking, data ingestion, OpenAPI, and database architecture.
• Experience with AI agents, MCP, agentic workflows, React, OpenTelemetry, SSO, SCIM, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable TypeScript applications, backend services, and APIs within AWS environments.
• Build secure healthcare data platforms supporting PHI, clinical information, data ingestion, and interoperability workflows.
• Develop FHIR, HL7, EHR, and third-party integrations to enable reliable exchange of healthcare and clinical data.
• Engineer AWS infrastructure using S3, IAM, encryption, networking, serverless services, containers, and security controls.
• Build AI-enabled workflows, agents, MCP integrations, databases, and automation capabilities for healthcare applications.
• Own solutions from architecture through development, deployment, monitoring, security hardening, and production optimization.
