Software Engineer I

The Software Engineer I participates in new and existing software developments. The role involves collaborating cross functionally to elicit requirements, design, build, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and team members to understand product requirements and assist in translating them into software solutions
• Analyze and document product processes, workflows, and system requirements
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug new and existing software solutions with guidance from experienced team members
• Use approved AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing, debugging, and documentation while reviewing and validating outputs for accuracy, security, and quality
• Learn production systems, processes, and software applications to understand operational needs
• Assist production teams with troubleshooting software issues, investigating root causes, and implementing software improvements with guidance from experienced team members
• Identify and resolve system issues and bugs
• Follow software development best practices to produce high-quality, maintainable code
• Test and verify software modifications and final solutions
• Document code and features developed, including changes to existing code
• Demonstrate curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning by exploring new ideas and technologies, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the team’s growth and improvement

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Software Engineering
• No experience is required.
  • OR (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
