Software Engineer Performance Engineering Optimization

You will create tooling to probe, collect, and process large volumes of performance data from vehicles and simulations. You will design, build, and maintain cost-effective data pipelines and processing systems that transform data for visualization and analysis. You will collaborate with engineers across autonomy, sensing, and vehicle-platform infrastructure on optimization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Create tooling to probe, collect, and process performance data from vehicles and simulations
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and processing systems
• Ingest and transform data from multiple sources into the data warehouse
• Support downstream performance visualization and analysis tools
• Collaborate with engineers across autonomy, sensing, and vehicle-platform infrastructure on optimization efforts

Requirements

• C++ or Python programming and software design skills
• Knowledge of ETL pipelines
• Ability to apply statistical and machine learning methods for data analysis
• Experience and knowledge of Linux fundamentals
• BS or MS in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 1–3 years of professional experience
