Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to provide end-to-end technical architecture leadership for the FX platform Modernization program. The architect will define the target and transition-state architecture, integrate vendor-hosted solutions with the existing FX ecosystem, and ensure alignment with enterprise cloud, cybersecurity, network, resiliency, and architecture standards.

This position requires a strong hands-on architect capable of challenging vendor designs, driving architectural decisions, and working across engineering, infrastructure, security, business, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the FX modernization program.
• Define current-state, transition-state, and target-state architecture across vendor-hosted and on-premises platforms.
• Lead integration architecture across FX eco system
• Design secure AWS and hybrid-cloud connectivity, including private application integrations.
• Define architecture for SSO/SAML, encryption, certificates, key management, network security, and data protection.
• Establish HA/DR and resiliency architecture aligned with Tier 1 application requirements.
• Review and challenge ION vendor architecture and ensure compliance with enterprise technology standards.
• Lead architecture reviews and collaborate with application engineering, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, FX SMEs, and product teams.
• Support migration, cutover, production readiness, and legacy platform decommissioning.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of technology experience with strong experience in Solution/Application Architecture.
• Architecture experience within Capital Markets, FX, or other high-volume transaction processing platforms.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, hybrid cloud, APIs/integration patterns, networking, security, SSO/SAML, HA/DR, and observability.
• Experience integrating vendor-hosted/SaaS solutions with enterprise on-premises platforms.
• Proven ability to drive complex architecture decisions across application, cloud, infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity teams.
• Strong communication and vendor-management skills.
