Solutions Engineer Systems Integration BESS

You will support the electrical, controls, and mechanical integration of battery energy storage systems from requirements development through deployment and operational support. You will maintain integration documentation, review designs, analyze test and field data, troubleshoot system issues, coordinate technical resolutions, and travel to sites for testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system requirements, interface control documents, specifications, and compliance matrices
• Support integration of energy storage, power conversion, safety, controls, communications, and balance-of-system components
• Review electrical and controls designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and technical submittals
• Support prototype builds, verification, certification testing, manufacturing transition, and system validation
• Analyze test and field data and recommend engineering actions
• Troubleshoot electrical, controls, communications, and system-level issues
• Coordinate with project engineering, commissioning, operations, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Develop technical guidance, work instructions, presentations, and training materials
• Travel to factories, laboratories, and project sites for inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Approximately 2–4 years of relevant engineering experience
• Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, communications, power electronics, and system interfaces
• Ability to review schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, technical drawings, and bills of materials
• Experience with engineering analysis, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, or technical documentation
• Knowledge of structured problem solving, requirements management, verification, and configuration control
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%
