As a Surgical Technologist, you support safe, efficient surgical care by preparing and maintaining the sterile field, instruments, and equipment, and by anticipating the surgeon’s needs during procedures.
Working in the operating room, you help position and transport patients, set up and operate surgical equipment, monitor for breaks in aseptic technique, and assist as a second assistant when needed.
