What you will do:

  • Support the design, development and testing of Oracle HCM Cloud technical workstreams with leading practices throughout all phases of a cloud transformation
  • Liaise with architects, developers, business users and testing team in implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • A focus on business solution alignment, from requirements gathering, testing and system deployments typically around integration, data conversion, reporting and fast formulas
  • Apply business process and system expertise to bring forth leading practices in the area of HCM and key cross functional areas
  • Apply technical knowledge and expertise, working in collaboration with functional consulting staff on Baker Tilly engagement teams, in the implementation of business-aligned/driven Oracle HCM Cloud solutions
  • Invest in your professional development individually and through participation in firm wide learning and development programs
  • Support the growth and development of team members and clients through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals

  • Partner with project managers to identify project risk and issues. Work together to collaboratively develop and articulate mitigation strategies
  • Participate in the development and deployment of implementation methodologies, trainings, and toolkits through internal initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, human resources, or related field
  • Two (2) years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud including exposure to HCM Extracts, HCM Data Loader and HSDL toolsets.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in other HCM products like PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, Workday including proficiency with data structures and cloud terminology
  • Strong knowledge of HR business processes
  • Project experience with full lifecycle software implementation (e.g. requirements gathering, use case development, system analysis and design, integration, testing, deployment).
  • Excellent analytic skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required
  • Ability to engage effectively at the business and technical level, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
  • Ability to multitask across concurrent projects and stakeholders both internal and external
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with client resources from lower level to C suite
  • Ability to travel, potentially up to 50%
  • Must be willing to work non-traditional business hours for client demands

The pay rate ranges for this position are listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.

In Walnut Creek, CA: pay rate range is $125,000 to $228,000
