The Test Technician I is an entry level position that is responsible for performing various tasks in the Tire Testing Department.
These tasks range from tire testing support functions to basic tire tests such as measuring tire dimensions.
Record important tire information prior to mounting on the test rim and clearly writing this information on the test tire and test forms.
Prepare tire test samples by mounting them on the approved test rim and setting the inflation pressure of the tire.
