Job overview To perform the full range of hearing and audiological assessments necessary for the diagnosis of hearing loss including (pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, play audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, speech testing) and fit hearing aids to deaf and hearing impaired children to national standards Appropriate training and support will be provided to help the postholder progress towards becoming competent in a Band 6 role via the Higher Training Scheme.
