UI Engineer Big Data Analytics

Build contemporary interfaces with Angular and data visualization at Ribbon Communications. This full-time position works across advanced Big Data and Analytics technologies.

As a hands-on UI Engineer, you will design and develop features for Ribbon Communications’ next-generation application user interface. The Advanced Technology development team uses Angular, Kubernetes, Docker, Hadoop, and micro-services architecture. You will work with contemporary UI frameworks and Big Data platform engines, while pursuing software development in a self-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prototype and design new user interface feature content
• Deliver UI features using appropriate industry standard technologies
• Debug, fix, and improve the current user interface
• Design high-quality, well-architected, supportable software
• Support continuous improvement by questioning existing approaches

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic demonstrated through academic achievement
• Motivation toward a career in software development
• Experience or aptitude toward contemporary user interface design
• Experience with Angular, React, Node, or related frameworks beneficial
• HTML5, CSS3, SASS, or REST experience beneficial
