As a UX Researcher (m/f/d), you will be part of our Strategic User & Customer Experience Team. You will be responsible for generating user and customer insights through methodologically sound research, ensuring that product and design decisions are driven by robust evidence rather than assumptions. Working closely with Product Management, UX Design, Engineering, and other stakeholders, you will help foster an evidence-based culture across the organization. A key focus of this role is the analysis of quantitative data, the execution of scalable research studies, and the measurement and evaluation of user and customer experiences. Through your insights, you will contribute to creating better experiences and enabling informed decision-making across the product development lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and conduct qualitative and quantitative UX research activities throughout the entire product lifecycle, with a particular focus on quantitative research, experience measurement, and data-driven validation.
  • Apply research methods such as surveys, benchmarking studies, experiments, usage analytics, interviews, and usability testing, selecting the most appropriate research approaches, sample designs, and metrics for each project.
  • Analyze quantitative user, customer, and product data, identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and derive actionable recommendations.
  • Support the definition, measurement, and continuous development of experience metrics, helping to make the impact of product and service improvements measurable and transparent.
  • Design and evaluate experiments and quantitative studies to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions.
  • Identify user and customer needs and validate concepts, prototypes, and existing products with regard to usability, acceptance, and customer value.
  • Translate research findings into evidence-based recommendations and provide a reliable foundation for decision-making across Product, Design, and Business teams.
  • Convert insights into concrete actions and support their integration into roadmaps, epics, hypotheses, and acceptance criteria.

Your Qualifications

  • University degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, User Experience, Service Design, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience independently planning, conducting, and analyzing UX research projects, with a strong focus on or proven expertise in quantitative research.
  • Strong knowledge of quantitative research methodologies and statistics, with the ability to answer complex questions by combining multiple data sources and research methods.
  • Experience designing and analyzing surveys, benchmarking studies, experiments, or other quantitatively driven research approaches.
  • Confidence in working with data, metrics, and empirical analyses, combined with the ability to communicate findings in a clear and decision-oriented manner.
  • Ideally, experience with survey, analytics, or reporting tools, as well as analyzing large data sets.
  • Experience working in agile product and development environments, with a strong understanding of modern user-centered product development practices.
  • Ability to translate research findings into clear, actionable, and decision-relevant insights.
  • Experience developing and applying research artifacts such as personas, customer journeys, Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD), or comparable frameworks.
  • Ideally, experience establishing or enhancing research operations structures such as research repositories, participant panels, or knowledge databases.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with strong empathy and a user-centric mindset.
  • Structured, analytical, and self-driven way of working, as well as excellent German and English language skills for conducting research activities in both languages.
