Tamworth | £15.00 per hour + depending on experience | Monday to Friday

Experienced Welder Fabricator required | TIG or MIG | Technical Drawings | Mild Steel, Stainless Steel & Aluminium

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting an experienced TIG or MIG Welder Fabricator for an established manufacturing client in the Tamworth area.

This is a hands-on fabrication role suited to an experienced welder who can produce high-quality work, read technical drawings and work confidently with a range of materials.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• TIG and MIG welding.
• Fabrication from technical drawings.
• Working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Cutting, grinding and drilling.
• General fabrication duties.
• Producing high-quality finished products.
• Ensuring work meets required quality standards.
• Following safe working practices at all times.
• Working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Thursday: 06:00-15:00
• Friday: 06:00-12:00
• £15.00 per hour + depending on experience
• Monday to Friday working pattern.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in TIG or MIG.
• Confidence reading and working from technical drawings.
• Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• A reliable and hardworking approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
