Job Brief: HR Systems Analyst
OverviewWe are looking for a HR Systems Analyst to operate in the People Function Value Stream with a scope remit across all People Function business applications, including the core HCM platform, Workday, and the wider ecosystem of talent management, recruitment, reward and benefits, and learning and development tools. The systems analyst will have excellent communication skills and can adapt to a fast and ever-changing landscape.
Following a substantial period of investment in our systems, Enterprise Technology must build on the existing People Function roadmaps, define and drive their delivery, while continuing to provide first-class maintenance and support for the critical systems within its remit.
The role holder is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and support of Workday HCM modules, ensuring the system effectively supports HR operations and business processes. This role gathers and analyses business requirements, translates them into functional specifications, and configures Workday components such as business processes, security, reports, and calculated fields. The analyst manages release testing, Jira tickets, enhancements across generalist areas, and performs impact assessments / investigations
RequirementsIt is essential that candidates can evidence completion of a selection of Workday modules, as per the list below, with Core HCM module being required.
This is a hands-on configuration role and will require BAU Support across a range of modules
In addition to the above, key competencies include:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Must be able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
- Previous or current experience in testing would be an advantage
This position will be located anywhere globally, with preference in UK, Lisbon or India.
The initial duration of the statement of work is 6 months, with a possibility of extension, depending on the role needs and role holder performance.
