Yard Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the yard area, assisting with the loading and unloading of goods, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials. Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate equipment Organising and maintaining stock within the yard Assisting customers and drivers with collections and deliveries Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and safe at all times Operating forklifts or other machinery Following all health and safety procedures Requirements Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment Forklift licence desirable (but not essential) - Training will be provided Good organisational skills and attention to detail What We Offer Training and development opportunities Opportunities for progression within the company
